How to Setup Email Connector to Sending Mails for Sendgrid

Sendgrid Setup for Email Sending:

  • Select “Settings” category from menu.
  • Select “Email Connector” to set your Sendgrid account for sending mails.

  • Choose “Type” for SENDGRID.
  • Write your username which is default to “apikey” when you create key. If your username is not “apikey”, write your username.
  • Write your password.

  • To use “Sendgrid” for sending emails follow these steps:
  • Go to sendgrid page, If you have already an account please log in, otherwise create new account for sendgrid.

  • After filling in the required fields, click “Create Account” button.
  • New screen will pop up and fill required fields again and then click “Get Started”.

  • After creating or loging your account, on the opened page there will be button called “Create a Single Sender”, click it.

  • After clicking it, new screen will pop up.
  • Please fill in the required fields and click “Create” button.

  • To verify sender identity, check your inbox.

  • After verify your sender identiy, you will see green thick under the “Verified” section.
  • Now on the left side of the screen, there is section called “EMAIL API. Click it then select “Integration Guide”.

  • In this page, there will be two sections, please choose “SMTP Relay” option.

  • In this page, you can create new an API key.
  • Choose any name for your API key name.
  • Then select “Create Key” button.

  • After clicking Create Key button your new password will be generated, you can use this password in email connector page for “SENDGRID” option.
